This past year was defined by profound global disruption: trade regimes were upended, concessional finance contracted sharply, and long-standing geopolitical alignments were redrawn with unprecedented speed. Yet AFC remained steadfast, operating counter-cyclically to sustain investment flows and advance infrastructure development precisely when external conditions tightened.

AFC's vision of The Africa We Build extends beyond individual projects — it speaks to a continent-wide system that connects energy, transport, logistics, and digital infrastructure into integrated industrial ecosystems. By mobilising Africa's estimated US$4 trillion in domestic capital pools, capturing value from the continent's US$8.6 trillion in undeveloped mineral wealth, and building the financial architecture to fund its own ambitions, AFC is laying the groundwork for an Africa that competes on its own terms — industrialised, integrated, and self-determined.
